Ross Ambrose is the recipient of the 2007 Don Ferris Scholarship, from the Greater Cleveland Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association as the son of a state wrestling official - Matt Ambrose.

*Scholarship award from the Mustang Wrestling Club
*Solon Invitational Champion
*2 time Pioneer Conference Champion
*3 time Mayfield 8 placer
*3 time sectional placer
*2 time district placer
*2007 Ohio State Championship Qualifier, with 106 Career Varsity victories
*Plain Dealer Athlete of the Week
*Silver medalist at the 2006 National AAU Championships
*Sun News All Area All-Star.
Ross will be the First Strongsville H.S. Wrestler to be wrestling for Ohio State University this coming fall.
He was picked up by Ohio State and has made the wrestling roster for the 2007-2008 season.
